Destroy the Icon - Process 3

Image
I decided to add Big Ben over my image, to go with the England theme. I also made another version with one of the overlays I used the first time. I don't know if that one made it look too messy though. I do like how Big Ben looks, however.

Destroy the icon - Process 2

This is my first draft. I'm not sure what exactly we are doing to our images or how much we are supposed to edit them. I cut out princess Diana and duplicated her twice and then added two overlays of images of lights.

Destroy the icon - Process 1

I had a hard time finding a good image and one that I really liked. I ended up with these two. Depending on what we are doing with this project I will pick which one to use.

Final: Fantasy Appliance

Image
I decided to create the Rapunzel tower. I wanted to incorporate hair in some way since I did choose to create a hairdryer. I choose an image on a tower and image traced it in illustrator. I then chose an image of hair and also image traced it. I cut it into three sections and copied the middle section twice to elongate the hair. I found an image of fire and messed with the opacity of it to look almost like air/ fire. I liked how this turned out. I don't really like how fake the dragon looks compared to the tower and hair since those are real images. However, I am overall happy with the outcome.

Process 3: dragon update

Image
Update: I have been working on the colors of the dragon. I wanted to make it lighter and more recognizable. Here is the updated version. I am also working on better flames to have come out of its mouth. I also added the plug to the tail. I also have been working on the background I am trying to find the right medieval castle image that I can use.

Process 2: dragon/dryer

Image
I decided to combine my hairdryer with a dragon, as they both blow hot air/ fire. I would like to add more detail to the dragon and make it less dark. I would also like to make it less muddy and than it looks now. I am still figuring out a background for this.
