Process 2: dragon/dryer

I decided to combine my hairdryer with a dragon, as they both blow hot air/ fire. I would like to add more detail to the dragon and make it less dark. I would also like to make it less muddy and than it looks now. I am still figuring out a background for this.

    I think the hairdryer and dragon combo is really strong. The fire looks good because of all the detail. I would agree that it would be smart to make it less dark. I feel like the feet of the dragon gets kind of lost because they are almost all the same value. If you do plan to keep your dragon dark though, I would think a lighter background would look well.

 I have a few ideas for this project and I'm not really sure which route I want to take. I would love to be able to create something online and get it printed out and then paint or print make on top of it. My first time is like molding fruit, I'm working with fruit in my photography class right now so I've been thinking about it a lot. Personal Project: Process 1

 I think for this project I want to do something of a self-portrait. I have a few photos of myself that I would love to edit and distort in a cool way. I am imagining a really groovy and fun maybe almost scrapbook-like final photo. I think it would be cool to print out this edited photo and add doodles and other things over top and under neither it and then frame it.

  I am going with the theme of the expense of being a woman. I want to involve some of the things that women have to deal with. I need to take more pictures that go along with this theme better. I think that I would choose the word struggles or expenses or even female to describe my project.
