Cynical Nature of Things: Process 3


 I think I want to focus on the struggles of being a woman. How expensive it is to be a woman and how we are given things with such bad side effects and are just thrown medication to make us happy. I think my other pieces are distracting and this one is a little more subtle.

    I really enjoy seeing your progression and how these multi-faceted ideas come together cohesively in one image. I think this relays your themes well, and the different values really allow for the viewer to pick apart what is happening.

    I love love love this concept! I agree that your theme is relayed well in this, and I would suggest maybe pushing to even exaggerate what it feels like to be a woman? I don't really know what this would entail, but maybe include some more symbolism with color and form?

    This is gorgeous. Your concept is so important and I love this extremely subtle way that you've blended these images together. I almost feel like you could push this into multiple final pieces, like a series. Super excited to see where else this goes!!

 I have a few ideas for this project and I'm not really sure which route I want to take. I would love to be able to create something online and get it printed out and then paint or print make on top of it. My first time is like molding fruit, I'm working with fruit in my photography class right now so I've been thinking about it a lot. I think it would look cool to have intense images of really bright and colorful fruit and then have molding pieces crawling upon it. I also had the idea it photograph hands. Personal Project: Process 1

 I think for this project I want to do something of a self-portrait. I have a few photos of myself that I would love to edit and distort in a cool way. I am imagining a really groovy and fun maybe almost scrapbook-like final photo. I think it would be cool to print out this edited photo and add doodles and other things over top and under neither it and then frame it.

  I am going with the theme of the expense of being a woman. I want to involve some of the things that women have to deal with. I need to take more pictures that go along with this theme better. I think that I would choose the word struggles or expenses or even female to describe my project.
