Process 1: Fantasy Appliance

 






This is my first rendering of a hairdryer completely out of vectors on Illustrator. I would like to add more detail and clean it up a bit. I would also like to find different angles of the hairdryer to draw. I am still thinking of different things to mix this with.

    Hi Rebecca! This looks so great so far! the shadows and tones are really well done and give the object a really believable form. I look forward to see what you decide to combine this object with!

    I think this first version looks very nice. The shapes are all really smooth and definitely resemble a hairdryer. The only thing that is currently throwing me off is that the inside of the hairdryer is currently white when normally it would be very dark, otherwise I think the values and use of gradients work really well. I also look forward to hearing more about your concept and how you plan to combine this hairdryer with another object.

 I have a few ideas for this project and I'm not really sure which route I want to take. I would love to be able to create something online and get it printed out and then paint or print make on top of it. My first time is like molding fruit, I'm working with fruit in my photography class right now so I've been thinking about it a lot. I think it would look cool to have intense images of really bright and colorful fruit and then have molding pieces crawling upon it. I also had the idea it photograph hands. Personal Project: Process 1

 I think for this project I want to do something of a self-portrait. I have a few photos of myself that I would love to edit and distort in a cool way. I am imagining a really groovy and fun maybe almost scrapbook-like final photo. I think it would be cool to print out this edited photo and add doodles and other things over top and under neither it and then frame it.

Destroy the Icon - Process 3

  I decided to add Big Ben over my image, to go with the England theme. I also made another version with one of the overlays I used the first time. I don't know if that one made it look too messy though. I do like how Big Ben looks, however.
